The Rochester Renegades were established in the 80s. We are an inclusive bunch of humans, women and non-binary alike. The Renegades WRFC was founded in 1987 on the principles of community, growth, inclusivity, integrity, passion, and tradition. Since then, the Renegades have grown to be a premier competitor not only in upstate New York but across the Northeast and Midwest. The team is comprised of 20+ players who are pillars in the Rochester community. They dedicate their time to practices and games but most importantly giving back to the community in which they work and live through volunteering and mentoring.

It is important to note that while some players have been playing rugby since high school or college, most of the Renegades have found rugby later in life but quickly fell in love with the game.
